About visa application procedure following digitalization of certificates of eligibility (from 17th of March)
  At present time certificates of eligibility are issued by a paper application submission only, but beginning from 17th of March email applications will be accepted.
  Based on the aforementioned measures, from 17th of March the reception procedure of certificates of eligibility which are submitted for visa application will be changed.
The changes are described below: 
1 Change of visa application form
  Entries of [Certificate of eligibility number] and [Residence status] will be included in the application form
2 Processing of certificates of eligibility
(1) Paper based certificates of eligibility
  In addition to the conventional submission of original document, copies are also permitted.
(2) Electronic certificates of eligibility
During application period you must submit original document and copy (sent by email) or a copy (printed version).
